Join FuturePoint in creating this high-energy event! FuturePoint will be partnering with Broward County high school volunteers, other non-profits, community minded-companies and Tree Tops Park to create this event.
Event Details:
This event will be a walking “haunted” trail where participants will be brought back in time to an ancient tribal theme. The trail will be created and manned by Broward County high school drama student volunteers whose program will also benefit from the ticket revenue of the event. Groups will be guided through the trail and startled by anything from a “human sacrifice” scene to an “ancient ritual” and primal screams coming from up ahead.

Volunteer Captains:
With the large amounts of volunteers we'll be needing, we'll also need a group of people to help us manage. Volunteer Captains will be responsible to train and manage the volunteers working in their area (registration, merchandising, etc.) These captains will volunteer on Oct. 17th and the entire date/s they are captaining. For example, the Registration Volunteer Captain of both Saturdays of the event will be required to volunteer Oct. 17th from 6:45 – 9:45, Oct. 20th from 5:30pm to 1am and Oct. 27th from 2:30pm to 1am. (Shift end times are approximate.)
Volunteer Requirements:
The fun thing about this Halloween based event is that it’s meant to be a fun event – we require that all volunteers come with high energy and ready to have a blast and, most importantly, make sure our guests have a blast too! We also require that everyone be on time to their shifts and stay its entirety.
The FuturePoint team is very excited for this event! The “Trail of Terror” is a great opportunity for the community to become actively engaged in not only our non-profit cause, but also in our local schools. The profits from this event will assure that FuturePoint will be able to continue in their Vision to assure that “people know their value, are connected to each other, live authentically and contribute to the global community.”
